A lot of concrete was poured yesterday and I imagine it needs some time to dry. No one showed up to work today, but a delivery was made at 7am. I heard a noise out front and looked out the window to find this..
very large truck in front of our house. A little while later it was gone, but had left this:
So excited to see what's next!

Day 5 (of days worked)...
I came home from work today and found this collection of trucks in the street in front of our house..
by the end of the day, this is what was accomplished, you can actually see things forming up pretty well now.
Here are some close ups of each feature.
This is the wet deck or play shelf.
This is the side waterfall. You can also see the beginnings of the plumbing at the top and bottom.
This is the slide and waterfall over the spa.
We're getting there!!

Day 4...
The plaster company came back this morning and coated the inside of the pool and spa with some kind of very rough bonding material. Then the contractor spent the day working on the slide infrastructure. Starting to see a little plumbing appear too. The play shelf area gets fuller and fuller of discarded materials every day!
Day 3..
Today the plaster company came out and sandblasted the entire inside of the pool and spa, removed all the tile and removed the exit steps in the deep end. The contractor will be back tomorrow!

Day 2..
Making progress:
This is a shot of the bench/step deep end exit.
Shot of the spa, one side cut down, framework for slide.
Waterfall on side of pool, framed and chicken wired.
A shot of what will be the wet deck (play shelf). The finished deck will be the size of the orange outline. This is all the concrete they've been busting up, it will be used as filler.
Another shot of the soon to be wet deck.
Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. The plaster guys should be here to sandblast all the existing plaster off the inside of the pool and spa.

They came out yesterday and dropped a pump into the pool to drain it overnight. This morning the contractor showed up and went to work. Can't believe how much they did in one day!
