How many times did I say to my kids as they were growing up, "shut the door, are you trying to cool off the whole neightborhood, the air conditioners running", or "shut the door, are you trying to warm up the backyard, the heaters on!" Way too many to keep track of, I'm sure! I just went out front to see if I could help Ed finish putting up the Christmas decorations out in the front yard, and look what I found, he has a portable heater next to him!! I just couldn't stop it before it came out of my mouth..."WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, HEAT UP THE WHOLE YARD??" To which he replied, "No, just me, it's freezing out here!" I had to laugh, so Steve and Lidia and Abbey in ID where the high was 5 deg. today, and the Cox's in WA where it was a balmy 20 deg. at the warmest point in the day, it is "coldie" (as Cami would say) in Las Vegas too!

The low in Las Vegas was in the 30's, you shouldn't even be wearing a hat adn gloves, let alone have a portable heater on you!! I walked to school today, in -4 degrees, while it was snowing, uphill!! Don't be a sissy!!
Ohh... Steven... you will adjust after not living in the frosty cold for one winter! I once thought walking in -20 degrees, eye balls frozen, nose hairs like icicles was easy... I now think 30 degrees is FREEZING! I had scarf, jacket, gloves, and hat on today just to walk from my car into work! I totally need a portable heater to follow me around, that's awesome!
carter and cade want one for the bus stop. at least you aren't a garage cat, our poor kitties water keeps freezing!
It was snowing uphill??? Just teasing! Actually the way the wind blows in Rexburg it probably was!! BRRRR!!! Erin, they make little heater things you put in pets water dishes to keep the water from freezing, your kitties need one from Santa!!
