My New Project

This is my attempt at container vegetable gardening.  I planted lettuce seeds at my enrichment preparedness group last night!  I am learning how to be self sufficient by gardening!  (Don't all laugh at once!)   I will keep you updated on the success of my lettuce!

Autumn Time

It's autumn time, it's autumn time, the leaves are falling down,
it's autumn time, it's autumn time, it's all around the town,
it's autumn time, it's autumn time, there's yellow, red, and brown,
it's autumn time, it's autumn time, bright colors can be found!
(Anyone remember that primary song?  With autumn time comes apple time!!!

OH, THE MEMORIES!

Yesterday I took Cami to preschool.  She showed me a pink CareBear in her purse that she took with her.  I told her that one time when her mom was a little girl she was a pink CareBear for Halloween, and Cami looked at me like I was crazy!  So, here is the visual proof Cami, see for yourself, your mom was a CareBear ( and so was your aunt!)   (Check out the homemade pumpkin candy bags, made at the ever crafty Relief Society homemaking night!)  The best part of these costumes was, when they got home they were already in their pj's!

Request

I have had a request that I reinstate the Sunday question idea.  I quit doing it because no one was answering them, so what do you say you guys?

Here is the question for Sunday Sept. 21:

What is the best advice your dad or I ever gave you?  (Think hard, there must be something!!)

Oh, the hazards of long beautiful princess hair!!!  Cami picked up the battery operated car while the wheels were turning and before she knew it she had a new hair adornment, a blue jeep!  She very calmly came downstairs to show me, sat very calmly while I attempted to untangle, until Cade, in all his brotherly concern, said, "Grandma, maybe you should cut it!!!"  Tears began to flow, but alas, we managed to get it out without any scissors and all was right with the world again.
