Carter was a tiger in his class play while his parents are out of town for Uncle Jeff's wedding.  While the boys were at school, Cami had a great time making cupcakes for everyone to share.

Saturday fun

Saturday afternoon we took a trip to the lake to scout out beaches for the summer's fun. We found the perfect beach, below, but here are some shots of the most beautiful part of the lake that I have never seen before, reminded me of Lake Powell. I am so excited to go this summer and use "our" beach and play in this part of the lake!

Torrance Family Beach

I was determined to find "the perfect beach"! And, we did! This beach stretches around an entire cove and is absolutely the best! We ate our sandwiches on it and christened it the "Torrance Family Beach". It is where we intend to spend the entire summer and you are all invited. (we may have to blindfold you so as to not give away the location!)

Neighborhood Watch, oops!

The funniest thing happened Saturday afternoon!  Dad went outside and came running in telling me to bring my camera and come out, our neighbors were being ripped off.  I ran out with camera in hand and this is what I saw.  An Ashley furniture truck had pulled up, sat for a while, then when it pulled away this dresser and mirror wrapped in plastic were sitting on sidewalk.  Immediately this van pulled up, two men jumped out, looking around, and began cutting off the plastic.  One of them went to his van, grabbed a screwdriver, and still looking around, began removing the mirror so the pieces of furniture would fit in the back of the van!!!  By now I was hiding behind my car snapping pictures for the police!!!  Just then the homeowners drove up, and waved at the men as they pulled into their garage.  Then we figured out that the Ashley truck must have delivered new furniture into the house, and carried out the old, wrapping it in plastic so the drawers wouldn't fall out, and put it on the curb to be given away!!!!  Just call us the neighborhood snoops!!!!
